Florida Today Review: Sage Bistro

What Diners Are Saying…

“My favorite Spot anywhere !!!!!!”
This is a spot you must visit. Its the best restaurant I have been to in a long time . Always very good and the service is very good as well . Your meal is made from scratch . Nice variety on the menu . If you have not had a pot pie in a while you better try the Lobster Pot Pie !!!!! The fish is fresh and the steaks are great . You will never be disappointed . Michelle was our hostess and made us all feel like family from the time we all sat down. The owner and the staff are all 5 star

Best meal we had while in Cocoa Beach, other than the ones we cooked for ourselves, of course. Actually, one of the best meals ever! The food was DELICIOUS! We shared the Roasted Duck Asian Salad as an appetizer - amazing flavors. We both had the Moroccan Lamb & Lentil Soup - tasty, just the right spice. My husband had Pan Seared Mahi over Rice with Asian Vegetables - so good he was reluctant to share.. But he allowed me one bite! I had the Lobster Pot Pie -so savory. And we finished by sharing the Apple Crisp with Salted Caramel and Warm Whipped Cream.. The hostess was great and informative regarding the specials on the menu upon seating us. Our server, Larry, was awesome - friendly and attentive. It was nice, quiet and comfortable. Also, both the beer and wine selection was nice.

This is absolutely our new favorite place in Cocoa Beach! From the greeting by the owner, Sara, to our expert server of our fantastic entrees crafted by the excellent chef ending with the superb desserts, this is THE place!!! Sage is named for Sara's granddaughter. It used to be called Izzy's. We just love it there! 6 stars if we could!!
“Outstanding dining experience!”
Had the opportunity to go to Sage last night to celebrate a birthday with dear friends. What a terrific experience. The restaurant is beautiful and the way they have done the seating you can enjoy the trees, plants and flowering plants around the property and you don't even realize you are just steps away from A1A and the traffic. Outstanding staff. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the restaurant, the chef, the menu and the choices and specials. A good wine list and full bar. While they were busy you were not disturbed by echoing as they have evidently found ways to absorb restaurant sounds so you can have easy conversation at your table. The menu has numerous selections for all types of entrees. I had the champagne mushroom soup of the day, the sea bass and the shortbread dessert along with a great Pinot Noir from their wine list. Everyone in our group (4 of us) enjoyed the meal and the comradery within our group, with the owner and staff and others around us. What a terrific experience. We will certainly be back. if you are in the area and get the chance go won't be disappointed. Their website is right on as well!
